A fire in a haystack at a farm in La Seu d'Urgell mobilized seven units of the Bombers de la Generalitat on the morning of March 27, 2026. The incident alert was received at 12:05 PM, reporting a fire generating a considerable smoke plume.

The strong wind was pushing the smoke directly towards a nearby house. Faced with this situation, emergency personnel quickly installed water lines to protect the dwelling and prevent it from being affected by flames or smoke.
As a preventive measure, the three individuals inside the house were evacuated. Fortunately, none of them suffered any personal injuries due to the incident.
Teams from the Fire Department stations in La Seu d'Urgell, Oliana, Sort, and Bellver de Cerdanya were dispatched to the scene, working together to control and extinguish the haystack fire.
