The fire alert was received at 12:05 PM via 112, reporting a haystack on fire at a farm located near the Cerc road and next to a rural tourism accommodation.
Personnel from the Bombers de la Generalitat immediately deployed water lines to protect an inhabited residence situated next to the haystack, as the wind was pushing smoke directly towards the building.
As a precautionary measure, the three individuals who were in the neighboring house were evacuated. Fortunately, no personal injuries were reported due to the incident.
Officers from the Mossos d'Esquadra and personnel from the Sistema d'Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) also responded to the scene to support the firefighting and safety operations.
