The Alba Jussà cooperative completed the distribution of new educational kits this Monday across several schools in Pallars to encourage healthy eating habits and local territorial roots.

Developed under the Llavors d'Oportunitats project in collaboration with IDAPA, the initiative targets children aged 3 to 8. The goal is to spark curiosity about seasonal products and traditional seeds from the Pyrenees region.
The materials include puppets based on the book Llavors, qui soc?, featuring local varieties such as the Puigcercós pepper and the Punxeta tomato. These characters lead interactive sessions where students learn about nutrition through theater and visual analysis.
This social agriculture project by Alba Jussà also focuses on providing job opportunities for people facing employment barriers while preserving the traditional horticultural diversity of Pallars Jussà.
