Born in Manresa, filmmaker David Victori returns to his hometown to discuss his latest project, Cortafuego. The event, organized by the Manresa Film Office, takes place at the Espai Plana de l'Om Auditorium at 7:00 PM. The session features a conversation with critic Jordi Bordas, focusing on the creative process of a film that has already surpassed 13 million views worldwide.
“"It is difficult to act as a firewall, to contain violence and rage in certain situations, when the answer is not violence."
The movie, starring Belén Cuesta and Enric Auquer, was filmed in El Espinar, Segovia. Victori used real fire in several scenes to enhance the tension of the story, which explores human reactions under extreme pressure. This public event offers a unique opportunity to hear from one of Catalonia's most prominent contemporary directors.
