Filmmaker David Victori participated this Tuesday in an event in Manresa to analyze the phenomenon of his latest film, Cortafuego, currently a hit on Netflix.

The event, organized by the Manresa Film Office, allowed the local director to share details of his artistic evolution. During a conversation with critic Jordi Bordas, Victori revealed that the Cortafuego project originated from an idea by producer Ferran Tomàs. Although he initially set it aside, he eventually transformed it into a personal script exploring themes such as family and loss.

"I make films because I am in love with life, and the best way to talk about life is through cinema."
