Divers restaurant opens in Manresa, an Ampans project combining gastronomy and inclusion

The venue, located in the La Parada residential building designed by RCR Arquitectes, offers traditional Catalan cuisine and employment for people with disabilities.

The Ampans Foundation has inaugurated the Divers restaurant at the La Parada residential facility in Manresa, combining a traditional Catalan culinary offering with job placement for people with intellectual disabilities.

The Divers restaurant is located within the unique La Parada building, which also houses 60 residential places and training and job placement spaces for the foundation's users. The building, designed by the prestigious firm RCR Arquitectes, was conceived to ensure the highest possible quality of life, featuring bright spaces and surrounding garden areas.
This social economy initiative primarily aims to generate employment and training for vulnerable individuals. The restaurant staff includes Ampans users, who work alongside a team experienced in top-tier restaurants, aiming for a qualitative leap in Manresa's gastronomic offer.

The culinary proposal is based on respect for local produce and traditional Catalan cuisine, presented with a modern approach. The menu features classic dishes such as roast cannelloni, confit cod, or trinxat with potato, in addition to grilled options, rice dishes, and homemade desserts. The establishment also includes an outdoor terrace overlooking the Camí Vell de Santpedor.
The restaurant will be open from Monday to Thursday, from nine in the morning until eight in the evening. On Fridays and Saturdays, hours extend until midnight. Kitchen hours for lunch are from one in the afternoon to four in the afternoon, and on Friday and Saturday nights, from half past eight to eleven at night.
