Doctor Llatjós street, located in the Escodines district of Manresa, has become the city's most floral spot this March thanks to the blooming of its pear trees.

The street features twenty specimens of Pyrus calleryana, also known as the Callery pear. These trees, located near the Althaia Foundation Mental Health Center, produce a dense white flowering before their leaves even sprout, creating a striking urban scene.
Native to China and introduced to Europe by Joseph-Marie Callery, this species is common in Catalonia. However, the bloom is not without controversy, as some residents complain about the strong scent and the maintenance of the street during leaf fall.
