The faculty of the Manresa Municipal Conservatory of Music will star in the sixteenth edition of the free "One Hour of Music" cycle, starting this Friday, February 6, at the center's auditorium.

The program, which includes ten performances, will run until May and will offer diverse styles, from Viennese classicism to jazz and singer-songwriter music. All concerts will take place at 8 PM (20 h) in the facility's auditorium, located on Ignasi Balcells street.
The cycle opens this Friday, February 6, featuring guitarist Belisana Ruiz Moral, who will present the recital Brief History of the Guitar, a journey through the instrument's evolution. The second event, on February 19, will be Como el mar, the presentation of Cuban pianist Maria Lilia Cano Raya and her quartet, featuring Latin American and Mediterranean influences.
One of the highlights arrives on February 27 with the Trio Kairós (Nora Bosch, Jordi Coll, and Anna Costa), who, along with dancer Raquel Mill Sánchez, will offer a fusion of music and choreography with a personal take on Astor Piazzolla's Cuatro estaciones porteñas.
The program also includes proposals such as the four-hand piano concert One Piano, Two Opinions, Three Eras, featuring Jordi Humet Alsius and Dasha Medvedeva Chernov on March 17. Later, on April 22, Amat Santacana Gómez and Benjamí Santacana Mata will perform works by great Viennese masters like Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, and Schubert, notably using a cello built in 1774.
