The twelfth edition of the Jardins de Llum festival in Manresa, taking place on February 14 and 15, will focus on water with 27 light installations under the new artistic direction of Albert Gusi.

The creator of festivals like Panoràmic, Albert Gusi, takes over from the initial promoter, Roser Oduber, proposing 27 actions that aim to give continuity to the previous work. Featured artists include the renowned photographer Joan Fontcuberta, who will open the event in the Plaça Major with the show Gènesi.IA.
The Catalan company Calidos will also participate, bringing the hexagonal arch tunnel Hexx to the Nau de L’Anònima, alongside photographers Jordi Guillumet and Mònica Roselló, who will explore memory with Registres pendents. This edition recovers emblematic spaces such as the L’Anònima venue, the Carrer del Balç, and the Gothic Hall of La Seu.

"Works that shout because they will rise above the city will be combined with others that invite you to descend and let yourself be hypnotized, seeking a certain silence."

One of the most striking novelties is the opportunity for a captive hot air balloon flight from the L’Anònima courtyard, provided by the Igualada company Kon-Tiki. This activity will allow visitors to see Manresa illuminated at night, recalling the legend of the beam of light from Montserrat in 1345.
