Over 80 musicians from the central region performed at the Teatre Kursaal in Manresa on Sunday in a charity concert organized by the Vicente Ferrer Foundation to raise funds for children suffering from cerebral palsy in Nepal.

The initiative, held to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Vicente Ferrer Foundation, was directed by musician Manel Camp, who was unable to attend due to health reasons. Despite his absence, he managed to bring together a wide variety of artists such as Carles Cases, Lídia Pujol, Santi Careta, Zàping, and Els Convidats.
The concert, titled 'Music to Change the World,' was divided into three blocks. It began with an opera tasting performed by Mireia Pintó and pianist Vladislav Bronevetzky. Following this, Santi Careta took the stage, after the last-minute cancellation of singer Celeste Alías due to health issues.
One of the most visually spectacular pieces was the combination of music and acrobatics performed by David Moreno and Cristina Calleja. The performances by the choirs Escriny and Esclat Gòspel were also highly applauded, and the event included a nod to the agricultural sector with Olga López and David Sisó performing Cançó de suburbi by Josep Maria de Sagarra.
The evening, hosted by Manresa journalist Núria Bacardit, concluded with the group Zàping, led by Ramon Escalé, who energized the more than 500 people gathered at the theater, concluding a day of social and cultural commitment aimed at ensuring a dignified future for children with disabilities in Nepal.
