The new BOCA brand is launched with the goal of boosting Cambrils' gastronomic capital status, preserving its identity, and creating a circular ecosystem that connects local products, restaurants, and diners, as announced at the International Tourism Fair FITUR.
Among the calendar's highlights is the first edition of the international creative cooking competition for professionals, the Cambrils Galera Challenge Repsol, scheduled for February 23 at Parc Samà in a television format. The Festa Marinera (Seafarers' Festival) also returns to the Port de Cambrils, planned for the weekend of April 25 and 26, after its cancellation last year.
Another key event will be the new BOCA festival, dedicated to promoting local produce, which will take place at Parc del Pinaret from June 5 to 7. Furthermore, Cambrils will host the first international gastronomic tourism congress, IFOODTC, on November 10 and 11.
The BOCA quality seal will serve to identify and reward establishments that use local products. The Tourism Board will conduct audits in the coming weeks, distinguishing two levels of involvement: BOCA Valors (Values) and BOCA Excel·lència (Excellence), seeking continuous improvement and recognizing diversity.
