Reddis Foundation recognizes young talent in Baix Camp with research and vocational awards

The fifteenth edition of the Baccalaureate awards and the eleventh of Vocational Training recognize 38 high-quality projects in Reus.

The Fundació Privada Reddis presented its annual awards for the best Baccalaureate Research Projects and Vocational Training Final Projects for the 2024-2025 course at its headquarters in Reus.

The awards ceremony, held at the Fundació Privada Reddis headquarters in Reus, was chaired by Lluís Colomés, president of the entity. Also in attendance were Montserrat Fortuny, director of Territorial Education Services in Tarragona, and Pilar López, Education Councillor for the Reus City Council, highlighting institutional collaboration in promoting educational excellence in Baix Camp.
In the fifteenth edition of the Baccalaureate awards, 20 works were submitted. In the scientific-technological field, the first prize went to Laura Llorens Roig from the Institut Baix Camp in Reus for her work The rhythm of nature. Study of the effect of music on crystallization and plant growth. The second prize was awarded to Daniel Chavero Bedmar from the Institut Roseta Mauri with Skate Boarding and Physics.
Regarding humanities, social sciences, and art, Nawal El Kasmi Afrouni from the Institut Salvador Vilaseca in Reus won first prize with Female Entrepreneurship. For the Vocational Training Projects, celebrating their eleventh edition, the top award went to Eva Garcia Berzosa from the Escola d’Art i Disseny de Reus for the project Maset del Creus.

The jury, composed of representatives from the Department of Education, the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, and secondary schools in Baix Camp, emphasized the quality and rigor of the submitted works. This initiative reaffirms the commitment of the Fundació Privada Reddis to education and innovation, fostering critical thinking and research among the region's youth.
