The Mayor of Reus, Sandra Guaita, is launching the 'L'alcaldessa als barris' program to strengthen active listening with citizens on the street, starting on February 10, 11, and 12 in the Fortuny and Juroca neighborhoods.

This initiative represents a qualitative leap in the active listening strategy set as a priority axis in the Municipal Action Plan 2023-2027 for the capital of Baix Camp. The program seeks to jointly improve the daily life of the city through direct and sincere dialogue with the residents.
The 'L'alcaldessa als barris' program deploys an intense three-day agenda in each zone, featuring visits, meetings, and street interviews. Every day, a tent will be set up in a neighborhood spot where the mayor will personally attend to anyone wishing to share their concerns and proposals.

The program reinforces the commitment of the Mayor's Office to proximity, transparency, and direct dialogue to build, starting from the neighborhoods, a positive city.

In addition to the attention provided at the tent, Sandra Guaita, accompanied by other council members, will tour the neighborhood to gauge residents' opinions, visiting shops and facilities. The agenda includes meetings with the management of educational centers such as the Marià Fortuny and Puigcerver schools, and student family associations.
The program will commence on February 10, 11, and 12 in the Fortuny and Juroca neighborhoods, and also plans to visit the Migjorn Civic Center and the Olympic Pavilion. The schedule will be announced beforehand through informative leaflets in mailboxes and via the social media channels of the Reus City Council.
