The Reus Public School Network presented its pre-registration and open days campaign at the Pompeu Fabra School, scheduling visits for families throughout February and early March.

The presentation of the informational campaign regarding the open days and pre-registration process for the Reus Public School Network took place at the Pompeu Fabra School. Representatives from the twenty public schools in the municipality highlighted the essential work carried out by public education in the city of Reus.
The open days will be held throughout February and early March. Most visits will be in-person, allowing families to learn about the educational projects, facilities, and teaching staff of the infant and primary education centers. Visits will be offered in various formats, including prior appointment, free entry, personalized options, or virtual tours. Detailed information is available on the Reus City Council website.

As part of the campaign, the Reus City Council has scheduled two informational talks about the pre-registration process. The first will take place on February 11, at 5 p.m., at the Gregal Civic Center, and the second on February 18, at the same time, at the Escola Bressol l’Olivera.
The meeting also served to champion the role of public schooling. Mar Fernández, director of the Pompeu Fabra School, defended public education as an option of “quality and proximity,” faithful to the values of diversity and coexistence. Similarly, Elisenda Gil, director of the Marià Fortuny School, described public services as a “fundamental pillar.”
