The internal conflict within the Real Congregación de la Sangre in Reus has escalated with the appearance of new satirical anonymous messages imitating terrorist communiqués, acts which the dismissed governing board announced it will report again this January.

The mocking messages, which have appeared throughout the city, define the board dismissed by the Archbishopric of Tarragona as the 'Comando Roma', using the initials of its members. The anonymous note accuses the 'delinquents' of having 'kidnapped the Temple de la Sang' and demands a 'ransom' from the archbishop.
This action adds to a series of mockery observed in recent months, including repeated anonymous notes sent to the delegate commissioner Javier Balañá, with toy keys included, and the distribution of leaflets in the Plaça del Mercat ridiculing him.

"Mockery is not, I believe, a very Catholic value."

Javier Balañá · Delegate Commissioner
The dismissed Governing Board has expressed its 'total rejection of all these acts of vandalism in the form of pamphlets, leaflets, and anonymous letters sent to private homes'. They state that they already reported the incidents last October and, given the repetition and seriousness of the events, they will proceed to report them again with the aim of ensuring 'these actions do not go unpunished and do not occur again'.
