The new Compà Calabrese restaurant, specializing in Calabrian street food, is scheduled to open in the coming weeks at Reus' Plaça del Mercadal, completing the central gastronomic offering.

The venue dedicated to authentic Italian cuisine in street food format will be located in the city center, occupying the space previously held by the L’Antídot restaurant, which closed following a fire in 2023.
Compà Calabrese belongs to a chain that already has a strong presence in the Barcelona area, with locations in Barceloneta, Sants, and Gràcia, as well as an outlet in Castelldefels.
The gastronomic concept relies on traditional dishes made with selected ingredients and family recipes provided by the founder, Vittorio Cicero. The main offering will focus on paninis featuring typical recipes from the Calabria region, located in Southern Italy.
