Reus Cultura and the Reus Carnival Colles Federation have presented the official program for the festival taking place in Reus from February 12 to 18, 2026.

The great winter festival in Reus will officially begin on Fat Thursday, February 12, with the arrival of His Majesty King Carnestoltes LXV at the Plaça del Mercadal. This year's poster was designed by the artist from La Rioja, Ángel Ligero, recognized for his career spanning more than 25 years.
One of the main novelties this year is the change of location for the popular Batalla del Confeti (Confetti Battle), which will take place on Sunday, February 15, at Passeig Mata, returning to the traditional site after being held last year on Sant Jordi avenue.
The programming begins with preliminary events on Sunday, February 8, including the second popular costume race and the Vermut Carnavalero dels 80. On Monday, February 9, the Centre Cultural El Castell will host the inauguration of the poster exhibition, featuring the exposed Carro de Morts del Carnestoltes (Carnival Death Cart).
The central days include the Rua de Lluïment (Parade of Splendor) on Saturday, February 14, through the main avenues of the city, and the Rua Matinal (Morning Parade) on Sunday, February 15. The events will culminate on Carnival Tuesday, February 17, with the Rua Mortuòria (Mortuary Parade) and the Crema de Sa Majestat (Burning of His Majesty) at the Plaça del Mercadal.
Finally, Ash Wednesday, February 18, will close the celebration with the XX Photographic Exhibition of the Reus Carnival at Palau Bofarull and the procession of the Braç Incorrupte (Incorrupt Arm) of His Majesty King Carnestoltes LXV, which will also be burned at the Plaça del Mercadal.
