The program, under the slogan 'La cultura ens uneix' (Culture Unites Us), will include a gathering of the Seguici Petit (Small Retinue), featuring the children's versions of the Basilisc, the Lleó (Lion), and the Àliga (Eagle). Also present will be the Geganta Arlet, the Gegants de Riudecanyes (Giants of Riudecanyes), and the Cucafera, filling the school playground with music and traditional dances.
In addition to the elements of popular tradition, the day will feature the children's show Trusky & Lulu científics (Trusky & Lulu Scientists), performed by the company Toc de Gresca, a proposal specifically designed for the enjoyment of the family audience.
The activity aims to highlight popular culture as a tool for social cohesion and collective identity, fostering spaces for meeting and coexistence.
The school playground will open its doors at 10 in the morning. The final dance is scheduled for 12 noon, followed by the children's show at 12:15 PM. This initiative is subsidized by the Reus Ciutat Educadora program.
