The centenary Forn Domingo bakery in Riudoms, founded in 1910, has announced the closure of its public shop to dedicate itself exclusively to making savory flatbreads (coques de recapte).

The decision, communicated by owner Carles Domingo via social media, signals a change in focus for the traditional business, aiming to boost its most recognized and artisanal product.
From now on, the bakery will focus solely on producing coques de recapte, spinach flatbreads, and other varieties, setting aside the pastry and café services it previously offered until this new stage.
Despite the physical shop closure, customers will still be able to purchase the flatbreads. The new designated sales point for distribution is Cal Sendra, where the freshly baked products are already available.
