Seventeen Catalan students from Institut Dertosa and seventeen German students from IGS Sassenburg are meeting in Tortosa for a week to celebrate the tenth anniversary of their Erasmus+ exchange project.

The Erasmus+ project, which promotes educational mobility and cultural exchange, has consolidated links over a decade between Institut Dertosa in Tortosa and IGS Sassenburg in Gifhorn, Germany.
During the last week, a total of 34 students, accompanied by four teachers, participated in various planned activities. This meeting included the active involvement of host mother Imma Beneyto, professor Emigdi Subirats, head of the project, and German teachers Natalie and Alli, along with students Alex and Luisa.

This experience promotes coexistence, intercultural knowledge, and the consolidation of European values among the young participants.

The mobility week included heritage visits and recreational and cultural activities, with stays in Barcelona and Reus, in addition to a day at Karting de Calafat, reinforcing learning outside the classroom.
