The School of Art and Culture in Tortosa has launched two new artistic projects led by women this March 2026, coinciding with the celebrations for International Women's Day.

The Varietés videopodcast series, co-produced with Col·lectiu Cultura, will feature eight episodes dedicated to female creators from the Terres de l'Ebre region. The first session focused on designer Anna Vizcarro and her project Lo Fil de la Vida, which uses embroidery to tell life stories.
In parallel, the school is hosting Bidean, a photographic exhibition by Miren Pastor. Part of the 2026 Mountain Cycle, the collection explores the connection between humans and the landscape through images of mountain peaks, symbolizing life's transitions. The exhibit will remain open until May.
The opening ceremony was led by deputy Iris Castell and attended by center director Lluïsa Gené. Upcoming episodes of the series will showcase artists such as Antònia Ripoll, Anna Zaera, and Neus Barberà.
