The Girona region is set to participate in the third edition of Cap Butaca Buida – Theater Day on March 21st, an initiative aimed at filling every theater seat across the territory.

A total of twenty theaters and cultural facilities will take part in the event, spanning from the Pyrenees to the Costa Brava. Key locations in Baix Empordà, such as Palamós, Palafrugell, and Sant Feliu de Guíxols, are confirmed participants in this symbolic day.
The program features diverse performances including contemporary drama, comedy, and musicals like Armstrong at the Palafrugell Municipal Theater. The event coincides with World Theater Week, highlighting the social and cultural importance of the performing arts.
The project is organized by the Association of Theater Companies of Catalonia (ADETCA) and the Catalan Media Corporation, supported by the Generalitat de Catalunya.
