The Palafrugell Town Council has scheduled the main event for International Women's Day on Friday, March 6th, at Plaça Nova, with a strong focus on local educational centers.

Coordinated by Espai Dona, the ceremony will begin at 11:00 AM. This act is part of a broader program running from March 2nd to 28th under the slogan Every day is March 8th, aimed at promoting gender equality and visibility.
Key activities include the Women's Street Name Route, where students will decorate public spaces to highlight female contributions. Other highlights include workshops at the Cork Museum and the art exhibition Pelonas by Anabelle Sproat at the local health center.
The program also features a community bike ride and a Lindy Hop dance session for equality on March 8th, reinforcing the town's commitment to social reflection and participation.
