The Begues Local Police have expanded their annual road safety program this February 2026, launching new educational resources specifically designed for preschool students in the municipality.

The new pedagogical kit includes an illustrated workbook where children learn about safety through interactive stickers. The activities focus on the correct use of seat belts, child car seats, and helmets for bicycles and scooters.
In addition to the workbooks, officers are distributing reflective keychains for school backpacks. These items are intended to increase children's visibility on the streets and provide direct contact information for the Local Police.
The initiative also targets families, providing advice on how to keep children engaged during trips and emphasizing the role of parents as safety role models for their children.
This long-standing educational effort in Begues has previously received national recognition and awards, highlighting the police force's commitment to the well-being of the local school community.
