The project originated as a final course assignment at the Institut Ernest Lluch in Cunit after Ibáñez noticed that many of his classmates held unrealistic expectations, such as believing they could "finish college, get a job, save for a few years, and buy an apartment."
“"Among my friends and classmates, I saw that there is little information about prices, procedures, and other requirements needed to become independent and acquire housing,"
The platform relies on official data, analyzing historical sales prices in Cunit and the Baix Penedès, and providing future forecasts. The tool simulates buying and renting scenarios, calculates mortgage payments, and determines the necessary income to handle the investment, offering a final personalized recommendation.
“"Training in domestic economics would be necessary because there is a lot of confusion on this topic,"
Ibáñez, who studies Social Sciences in high school, points out the lack of basic economic education for youth. He plans to study Economics after graduation, potentially in the United States. The platform is available for free consultation at https://www.assesoriahabitatge.com.
