The Plenary of the Barcelona City Council will put to a vote this Friday a proposal to establish a productivity bonus for municipal management staff. This measure includes the possibility of a bonus that could reach up to 5% of the annual gross salary, affecting senior management and executive positions, even those with incomes exceeding 100,000 euros.
The proposal, which was debated in the presidency commission last March, received the support of the PSC and ERC. At that time, Barcelona en Comú voted against it, while Junts per Barcelona, the PP, and Vox opted for a vote reservation, awaiting the final decision in the Plenary Council.
It is a controversial point that foresees a bonus that can reach up to 5%, among others for senior management and executive positions.
