Barcelona has secured two spots in The World's 100 Best Coffee Shops ranking, with Nomad Frutas Selectas breaking into the top 20 as a global reference for specialty coffee.

Located in the Poblenou district, Nomad Frutas Selectas stands at number 16 worldwide. The shop is praised for its meticulously roasted beans and its modern space, recently redesigned by Skye Maunsell and Jordi Veciana at Pujades street.
The second local entry is D·Origen Coffee Roasters, ranked 83rd. Situated in the historic Casa Calvet designed by Antoni Gaudí, the shop is noted for its sustainability efforts, including 3D-printed furniture made from recycled plastic and coffee grounds.
The global list is topped by Onyx Coffee Lab in Rogers, Arkansas, which combines high-tech production with a bakery and tasting restaurant in a historic setting.
