The Cercs Town Council and the Mining Museum invite visitors to explore the industrial history of Berguedà through a unique train journey inside the Sant Romà gallery.

The Sant Corneli complex, a mining colony built between 1895 and 1911, has become a landmark for industrial tourism in Catalonia. For over a century, it was a key energy producer for the country's textile factories and railways.
The visit starts with a 450-meter trip on an authentic mining train. Afterward, a guided walking tour explains the evolution of coal extraction methods, from 19th-century manual labor to modern mechanization.
The experience also includes the Mine Lights exhibition and documentaries on historical labor strikes. Visitors can also explore a miner's house restored to its 1940s appearance.
