A car was completely consumed by flames this Saturday on the Pla de les Forques road, located in Fontanals de Cerdanya. The fire also affected a small area of forest vegetation adjacent to the vehicle.
The Generalitat Firefighters received the alert at 12:32 PM via the emergency number 112. Two crews were quickly dispatched to the scene.
Emergency personnel managed to extinguish the flames and worked to ensure the fire did not spread beyond the vehicle and the initially affected forest area.
