More than 350 people participated last Friday, May 1, in the 14th Séquia Walk in Puigcerdà, covering up to 9 kilometers to discover the natural heritage of the region.

The itinerary, which started in Puigcerdà, followed the irrigation ditch passing through Enveig and La Tor de Querol, to finish in Riutès. This annual activity offers an opportunity to enjoy physical exercise while exploring the natural surroundings of the area.
Upon arrival at the Riutès Picnic Area, participants were able to enjoy a popular breakfast, which served to conclude the day and regain energy after the route.

"We continue to promote activities that keep us moving and strengthen our bond with Puigcerdà."

Puigcerdà City Council
The Puigcerdà City Council has expressed its gratitude to the staff of the Sports Area, the volunteers from Civil Protection, the Municipal Brigade, and all participants and the organizing team for making the event possible year after year.
The first edition of this walk was held on May 1, 2011, as part of the 150th anniversary of the Puigcerdà Firefighters, and since then it has become a well-received annual event.
