The Puigcerdà sports hall hosted the 29th Trinxat Festival this Saturday, bringing together 600 attendees and prominent political figures from across Catalonia.

The event, hosted by Mayor Josep Manel Serra, saw the participation of Minister Miquel Sàmper and Oriol Junqueras. Organizers intentionally reduced the capacity from previous years to improve safety and comfort while adjusting the municipal budget for the Cerdanya region's premier food event.
The menu focused on the traditional trinxat, a dish made of local potatoes and winter cabbage. The evening concluded with a performance by the Montecarlo Orchestra, supported by the Girona Provincial Council and local culinary students.
