A group of residents in Bellver de Cerdanya, supported by the Pirineu Viu organization, has launched a protest campaign against the Municipal Urban Planning Plan (POUM) due to transparency concerns.

The neighborhood platform criticizes the local council's expansionist approach. On March 11, approximately 150 people gathered at the local civic center to review the proposal, identifying technical errors and inconsistencies in the projected growth scenarios.

"This plan proposes disproportionate population growth expectations considering the growth of the last century."

The group has announced a collective legal objection to be submitted to the Bellver de Cerdanya Town Hall. Their demands include halting the current plan, starting a democratic participation process, and protecting affordable housing for permanent residents.
