Artist Valença Castells, from Vilamolat de Mur, has been selected as the winner of the poster competition for the 15th Pyrenees Early Music Festival (FeMAP) with a highly symbolic proposal.

The winning piece, titled La música alimenta l'ànima (Music feeds the soul), features a slice of bread shaped like an ear, with musical notes resembling ants. This composition illustrates how music penetrates and sustains the spirit. Castells previously won the competition in 2019.
Fifteen proposals were submitted by artists from the festival's participating municipalities. Finalists included Pep Boatella from Puigcerdà, and Mariona Vadrí and Clara Santacana from Sort. These artists will receive double passes for the 2026 concert season and a FeMAP CD.
The selection process combined public social media voting with a professional committee's evaluation. The jury praised the work's originality, visual strength, and its ability to represent the unique musical framework of the Pyrenees festival.
