The 31st Les Garrigues Gastronomic Exhibition officially concluded on December 14, gathering nearly 1,500 diners who enjoyed special menus based on local products and extra virgin olive oil.

For a month and a half, six restaurants in the region participated in this key autumn event in Les Garrigues, offering weekend culinary proposals featuring olive oil as the undisputed star. Participating establishments included Cafè Terrall Restaurant, Restaurant Hostal Benet, Masia Les Garrigues, and El 9 Syrah (all in les Borges Blanques), along with El Sindicat de Tarrés (in Tarrés) and Les Cuines de la Llena (in la Pobla de Cérvoles).
Although two fewer restaurants participated this year than in the previous edition, the Comarcal Council confirmed that the number of diners stabilized around 1,500, demonstrating the event's continued consolidation.

"Given the high demand, some establishments have decided to extend the menu offer for a few more weeks, which will allow us to reach around 1,600 served menus."

The closing ceremony was held at the restaurant El Sindicat de Tarrés, bringing together the restaurateurs, municipal representatives, the director of the Lleida Provincial Council Tourism Board, Juli Alegre, and the president of the Les Garrigues Comarcal Council, Antoni Villas.
This exhibition is held parallel to the olive oil festivals scheduled in various towns in the region to present the oil from the new harvest. As a gift, diners who participated in the Exhibition menus received a bottle of extra virgin olive oil per couple.
