The brewing company Damm is presenting its new commemorative beer, Bohemia Reserva 150, at the Fòrum Gastronòmic de Girona, which takes place between February 9 and 11.

The new beer, a slow-aged lager, will be available for tasting for the first time at the Damm stand during the Fòrum Gastronòmic de Girona, scheduled for next week. The name Bohemia Reserva 150 refers to the historic Fàbrica de la Bohemia, now the Antiga Fàbrica Estrella Damm, and its image is inspired by the company's first labels from the late 19th century.

The new Bohemia Reserva 150 is a beer designed to honor this legacy and toast to all the people who have accompanied the company on this journey.

This special edition commemorates the company's century and a half of existence, which was founded in Barcelona in 1876 by the young Alsatians August Kuentzmann Damm and his wife Melanie. The beer is made with barley malt, rice, and hops, 100% natural ingredients, and is described as "intense yet balanced, with moderate bitterness and herbaceous nuances."
Damm officials highlight the gastronomic versatility of Bohemia Reserva 150, suggesting it as an ideal accompaniment for meats, stews, tapas, and fried foods, as its carbonation alleviates the greasy sensation in the mouth. It is also recommended with cured sausages, aged cheeses, and oily or smoked fish, where its character balances the intensity of the flavors.
