The Sant Gregori Record and Rock'n'Roll Culture Fair, Nostaldisc, will celebrate its tenth edition this Sunday with the La Rodona orchestra as town crier and a special performance for its fiftieth anniversary.

The event, which will take place at Espai La Pineda, will feature Joan Duch, vocalist and saxophonist of La Rodona and the only member of the original formation, who will be in charge of reading the proclamation. The orchestra, which this year celebrates half a century of enlivening local festivals, will offer a performance in collaboration with the Orquestra Sant Martirià, one of the most anticipated moments of the day.
In addition, the fair will include a special concert by Germà Negre in a reduced and acoustic format. Nostaldisc was born a decade ago as a collector's record fair, with a strong emphasis on live music. The first edition was a tribute to the musician and cultural activist Jordi Pagès, and this edition pays homage to its roots with concerts that recall him, as Pagès had played bass with La Rodona and his son is a member of Germà Negre.
The event, organized by LE²X, maintains the family-friendly format of previous editions, combining musical proposals and a vinyl market with workshops for children. All activities are free and open to the public. In case of rain, outdoor activities will be moved inside the pavilion, where there will be sixteen vinyl stalls from 10 AM to 6 PM.
The family program, known as Nostalkids, will begin at 11 AM with workshops by Meraki.440 and a circus workshop by Mag Gepis. After the proclamation, scheduled for 12:00 PM, and the concerts, the first Radiofree Vinil Sessions & Friends will be held, hosted by Radiofree presenters, along with Mr. Blond and DJ Vonbarbass.
Attendees can also enjoy the Jordi Prat's Virtual Vinyl Expojoc, which will allow a virtual tour of popular music from the last 60 years through vinyl design and art using a QR code. The Espai Autor, dedicated to stands with merchandise and records by musicians, will feature the participation of Mireia Vilalta and Àcid Úric.
