The town of Llagostera hosts the second edition of the Wild Boar and Game Cuisine Days from January 30 to February 15, featuring sixteen establishments promoting local proximity gastronomy.

The initiative, which reaches its second edition after initial success, seeks to highlight the local gastronomic tradition and encourage the consumption of products linked to game meat and wild boar. A total of 16 establishments in Llagostera offer typical dishes, cured meats, and specialized products throughout the period.
The program will officially open on February 5 with a prominent showcooking event at the Teatre Casino Llagosterenc, led by Martí Rosàs, chef at Ca la Maria, and Xavier Amat, from the Societat de Caçadors Sant Hubert. The event will be presented by the Director General of Forests and Environmental Management, Jaume Minguell.
Complementary activities include the vermouth talk "Cooking and Philosophy of Hunting" on February 1 at the Centre Cultural Can Roig, hosted by the popular chef Maria Nicolau. A hunter's breakfast will also be held on February 7 at the Edifici Polivalent, organized by the Societat de Caçadors Sant Hubert de Llagostera.
Throughout the days, five butcher shops (Carnisseria Miquel, Gascons Carnissers, Carns David, Carns Agustí, and Can Vinyas) and several local restaurants and rotisseries will offer game meat and typical dishes, including El Carril9, Ca la Maria, Entre Terres, El Passeig, La Pedra, Can Cassoles, Rostisseria Melvys, Ca l'Artau, Cuinats el Bon Gust, Casino Llagosterenc, and Cal Degollat.
