The la Ràpita City Council approved several investments in public facilities and a new Digital Administration Ordinance this February to modernize municipal services and infrastructure.

The council validated a credit modification to fund urgent actions. Key projects include the minibus service for Sant Josep street residents, affected by floods on October 12, 2025, as well as street paving and the renovation of the Municipal Retired People's Center.

"The approved budget modification is possible thanks to the Council's good financial health, closing 2025 with a 4.8 million euro surplus."

Regarding modernization, the Digital Administration Ordinance received initial approval. This regulation aims to consolidate electronic communication between the administration and the citizens of la Ràpita.
Finally, a joint motion for International Women's Day on March 8 was passed unanimously, reinforcing the town's commitment to gender equality and the fight against violence.
