The Alba Jussà cooperative finished distributing a new educational kit this Monday to several schools in Pallars Jussà to teach children about local biodiversity and healthy habits.

Developed under the Llavors d'Oportunitats project, the kit is aimed at children aged 3 to 8. It features puppets based on local vegetable varieties, such as the Puigcercós pepper and the Tomata punxeta, inspired by the book Llavors, qui soc?.
Supported by IDAPA, the initiative uses storytelling and interactive games to explain the nutritional benefits of traditional crops. The project also focuses on social inclusion by providing job opportunities for people facing employment barriers in the Pallars region.
