The 14th edition of the Pyrenean Wine Fair has brought together thousands of people in Talarn, consolidating the municipality as a benchmark for mountain wines and Pyrenean wine culture.

The town of Talarn was the epicenter of mountain wine over the weekend, hosting the 14th edition of the Pyrenean Wine Fair. The event saw high participation, with over 3,000 visitors on Saturday afternoon alone, and was noted for the quality of its offerings and the involvement of the local community.
The fair featured a varied program including technical conferences, specialized tastings, visits to old private wineries, discovery activities of wine heritage, and a grand wine exhibition. These elements served to highlight the uniqueness of wines produced in the Pyrenees and the territory's historical connection with vineyards.
The wine exhibition on Saturday evening filled the Plaça Anna Maria Janer, transforming the town into a large meeting space centered around wine and gastronomy, with tastings, live music, and a festive atmosphere.
This year, the fair included participation from 12 Pyrenean wineries, showcasing the diversity of their mountain wines, and 12 local restaurants. The latter offered gastronomic proposals based on local products, solidifying the combination of enology and gastronomy as one of the event's main attractions.
Beyond the numbers, the Pyrenean Wine Fair has established itself as a collective project that champions the wine identity of Pallars and the entire Pyrenean region. The involvement of wineries, restaurateurs, organizations, and local volunteers ensures that wine culture serves as a tool for territorial promotion, economic revitalization, and social cohesion.
The organization views this edition very positively, reaffirming its commitment to growing the fair without losing its essence: proximity, quality, and a deep connection to the territory.
