The Generalitat de Catalunya and the Lleida City Council have agreed to establish a new joint tourism office in the city, aiming to improve visitor assistance and coordinate territorial promotion strategies.

The project, driven by the Directorate General of Tourism, will involve the expansion of the current Lleida Turisme Office facilities. This service integration seeks to optimize human and economic resources, increase management efficiency, and strengthen Lleida's position within national tourism routes.

"The future office is conceived as a key element to revitalize the urban center and strengthen the link between tourism, history, and identity. Lleida is rich in heritage with the Seu Vella, the Adoberies, the Paeria itself, or the new Museu Morera."

The Mayor of Lleida, Fèlix Larrosa, highlighted that the city offers rich heritage, such as the Seu Vella and the Museu Morera, accessible on foot, in addition to local gastronomy and a vibrant cultural scene. He also emphasized the city's role as the gateway to nature and sports tourism in the region.
The Director General of Tourism, Cristina Lagé, stressed that the office will become a “single tourist information point” that will align local promotion with Catalonia's tourism policies, offering clearer and more complete information to visitors starting January 29.
