Jordi Cortés' team lost 3-1 on the pitch of the surprising CF Vilanova, conceding three quick goals that sank the Lleida side and sent them back into the relegation zone.

Lleida's first away victory will have to wait. Jordi Cortés' team fell to CF Vilanova, the group's major revelation, which ended the Lleida team's four-game unbeaten streak. This defeat returns Lleida to the relegation zone, despite having a pending match against Vilassar de Mar.
Vilanova delivered an excellent performance during the first half-hour, enough time to virtually settle the match with a 3-0 score by the 30th minute. The first goal came quickly: after a cross, the Lleida defense was not sharp, and Viladegut left the ball dead at the edge of the box, which Celma capitalized on to score the 1-0, with the shot being deflected by Viladegut himself.
The home side doubled the difference after twenty minutes (2-0) when Bocardo headed a ball crossed from the right by Grima. Striker Joan Torrents, a recent signing for Vilanova, added the third goal with a header, completely alone between the central defenders, beating Satoca at the far post.
The second half saw a quadruple substitution by Cortés, bringing on Marc García, Putxi, Revert, and León. The Lleida players improved their performance, and in the 70th minute, the only reason for hope arrived: Aleix León finished a quick counterattack with a brilliant individual move, cutting past the defender and sending a powerful shot into the top corner to establish the final 3-1 score.
