The Max a escena and Max in love projects are launching their 28th edition at the Teatre Municipal de l'Escorxador in Lleida during February and March, using theatre to prevent risk behaviors among 4,000 young students.

The Max a escena and Max in love projects, collectively known as Max Experience, have begun their 28th edition at the Teatre Municipal de l'Escorxador in Lleida. The performances of Sortim o què? and In Love will run until March with the goal of promoting health and preventing risk behaviors among the city's youth. Approximately 4,000 students aged 15 to 16 are expected to participate, with the plays interpreted by actors aged 15 to 18.
The play Sortim o què? focuses on everyday adolescent situations to generate reflection on sensitive issues. These include drug consumption, peer pressure, and the complexities of family and friendship relationships, always presented from the perspective of the young performers.
Furthermore, In Love continues the project but with a deeper focus on the emotional aspects of adolescence. This piece addresses sexuality, affectivity, and gender roles, aiming to promote free and pleasurable relationships among the participants.
Both productions were created and directed by professionals from the Aula Municipal de Teatre in Lleida. Following each performance, attending youth participate in reflection sessions organized at their educational centers to encourage discussion and internalization of the themes addressed. The next scheduled performances are for February 23 and 24.
