This award, which recognizes excellence in pastry making in the western region of Catalonia, has been granted to the Lleida establishment without interruption since 2020, cementing its leading position in the sector.
In addition to Tugues, several other pastry shops from the Lleida area were included in the Top 50 best in Catalonia, receiving the Fava de Cacau distinction. This list features Pastisseria Carme, Fa Pastisseria, and Terés, all three in the capital of Segrià, as well as Vilà from Tàrrega.
The Fava de Cacau awards recognize the quality of establishments across the country, covering various profiles and trends, from tradition to vegan innovation.
Special awards were also presented during the ceremony, such as the Most Innovative Pastry Shop, which went to Magma BakweryLab in Poblenou (Barcelona), a vegan venue known for its WildSlice academy. The award for the greatest Historical Value went to Dulces Alemán el 1912 from Amposta.
