The Arbúcies Town Council has launched a binding public consultation to determine if the Enramades festival should be shortened from seven to five days to encourage local involvement.

The vote specifically targets residents of the Magnes, Sorrall, and Carretera neighborhoods, who are the primary organizers of this traditional celebration. The plan aims to condense the main events between Thursday and Monday to make it easier for people to attend.
Residents aged 16 and over can cast their ballots until April 7th. The local administration has clarified that all traditional floral displays will be preserved, even if the schedule is tightened. The result of this vote will be final and will shape the future of this historic festival in the Selva region.
