The Tarragona region will see 73 temporary speed restrictions (LTV) across its railway network starting Monday, making it the second most restricted province in Catalonia.

According to Adif's weekly report, Catalonia will have a total of 225 affected sections. Although the number of points has increased, the total distance under restriction has dropped to 180 kilometers following the completion of works between Móra la Nova and Reus.
The route between Riba-roja d'Ebre and Sant Vicenç de Calders remains the most affected with 40 restrictions. Ongoing maintenance at the Roda de Berà tunnel and track improvements near Torredembarra continue to impact daily operations.

"The network will be practically operational by these dates, and by April, all temporary speed limits will have been removed."

José Antonio Santano · Secretary of State for Transport
