Next Friday, May 1, Tàrrega will host a historical route allowing participants to compare the city's past and present through photographs, within the framework of the Year of Cultural Tourism in Urgell.

This activity, promoted by the Tourism Area of the Urgell Regional Council, will start at 11 AM from the kiosk in Plaça del Carme. The proposal invites attendees to a visual immersion in the urban transformation of the capital of Urgell, contrasting archive images with current reality.
Local guide Eli Rius will lead participants on this tour, which will analyze the social and urban evolution of Tàrrega over the decades. The objective is to offer an educational and accessible experience that strengthens local identity and historical knowledge among citizens and visitors.
To conclude the day, the organization will offer a small refreshment to attendees, including wine and the traditional Tàrrega coc. This initiative seeks to promote local products and create a space for gathering and exchanging impressions among participants.
The program is part of the Year of Cultural Tourism in Catalonia and is organized by Turisme Urgell, with the collaboration of the 16 municipalities of the region and the Tourism Board of the Diputació de Lleida. Visits are free, with limited places, and require prior registration.
