La Seu d'Urgell has launched a new digital visitor service that allows users to access information about the city and the Alt Urgell region at any time of the day.

The project, developed by a local company, aims to complement the services provided by the Tourist Office. The assistant, named Urgell, is designed to answer questions regarding hiking trails, mountain biking, heritage, gastronomy, and the local cultural agenda.
According to municipal sources, the system uses only data previously validated by city services to ensure reliability. If the tool cannot answer a specific query, it redirects the user to in-person support channels.
The virtual assistant is currently available in Catalan, Spanish, French, English, and German via the official tourism website. It is expected to be integrated into information screens at the city entrance and other municipal digital channels soon.

"Urgell was born out of the need to provide answers to both tourists and citizens at any time of the day, even when the tourist office is closed."
