The social cooperative Quàlia launched a pioneering project this Tuesday in Cervera to promote emotional well-being and fight mental health stigma in school canteens across Urgell and Segarra.

The initiative, titled What is inside the box?, uses wooden boxes filled with pedagogical resources such as stories and games to develop social skills. The official presentation took place at the Jaume Balmes school in Cervera, featuring a performance by the Cruma theater school.

"This resource aims to be a fun proposal to discover how we feel together."

The project includes materials tailored for children aged 3 to 5 and primary students aged 6 to 11. These boxes will stay at each school for up to two weeks, allowing children to engage with them during their lunch break.
Part of Quàlia's Strategic Plan for Mental Health, the program aims to integrate emotional care across all its services. The initiative is scheduled to visit five different schools by the end of the academic year.
