The weekend of June 6th and 7th brings a wealth of cultural events to Terrassa. The city will host up to four neighborhood festivals in La Maurina, Les Arenes, Cementiri Vell, and Lluís Companys. Additionally, the Festa del Capdidats with its traditional giants and big-heads will take place, alongside the first Comic Fair in the Vapor Ventalló square.
Music and theatre will be prominent. On Saturday at 5:30 PM, the Salesians Theatre presents "Mañana, el musical", an adaptation of the film Annie. At 7:00 PM, the Can Parellada Civic Center hosts the comedy "Diner (molt) negre" as part of the Escenes Locals (Local Scenes) cycle.
Saturday night will feature blues at El Cafè de l’Aula with Paul San Martín at 8:30 PM, and at 10:30 PM, the Nova Jazz Cava will host Balta Bordoy & The Bad Boys as part of the 2nd Blues Weekend.
On Sunday, June 7th, Doctor Prats will perform a double solidarity concert at the Principal Theatre to raise funds for the recovery of the Sala Regina, with shows at 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM. This will be the band's only concert in the city this year.
Sunday afternoon also includes a musical theatre workshop at the Coro Vell featuring Mecano songs at 6:00 PM. Simultaneously, the Municipal Auditorium will host the concert "Orient.cat" by the Quintet Montsant.
Finally, the Roc Blanc Civic Center will present the family play "La caputxeta i els Llops" (Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolves) on Sunday at 6:00 PM, as part of the Escenes Locals cycle.
